Recognitions and Offices Held

• 2016: The Computing Programme Team won the President's Awards for Distinguished Achievement for the quality of curriculum and extra-curriculum design and achievements of her students.
• 2016: Dr. Vanessa Ng received President's Award for Teaching Excellence.
• 2014: Dr. TS Li was appointed the Director of the Institute for Research in Innovative Technology and Sustainability (IRITS).
• 2014: Dr. Oliver Au was appointed the Chairperson of the Association of Computing Machinery (ACM) HK Chapter.

• 2012: The Computing Programme Team received the Bronze Award in the HK ICT Awards 2012 Professional Development Category for the development of the postgraduate programme Master of Science in Information Technology with Internet Applications (MSCITIA).

• 2012: Dr. Andrew Lui received 2012 IBM Faculty Award for recognition of the quality of the program and its importance to the industry.
• 2003: Dr. Vanessa Ng and Dr. Steven Choy President's Awards for Distinguished Achievement for their research project in teaching of computer programming.
